Abigail’s Story – MS Readathon Video [2011]

Description

For this video we filmed in Clonmel at the home of Abigail O’Reagan, her sister Caitlin and her parents Jim and Alison. Abigail talks about what life is like at home since her mum was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Abigail has taken part in many MS Readathons, she takes them pretty seriously (last year she read over 20 books!), and this year is no different, she plans to raise plenty money to help out MS Ireland.

The beautiful music in the video was made by Dublin-based electronic music producer Ilex.

If you know a young person who wants to sign up for the MS READaTHON and help families living with MS please tell them to:

  • Log onto www.msreadathon.ie
  • Call (01) 678 1600
  • Email read@msreadathon.ie
  • Call into your local library & pick up a form

 Thanks:

Distilled Ideas & MS Ireland would like to thank: Abigail, Caitlin, Alison & Jim O’Regan for participating in this video; & thanks to Ilex for her kind permission to let us use her beautiful song.
