Our short documentary film “Car Park Cultivation” has been selected to screen at the 2011 13th Annual International Short Film Festival in Barcelona, MECAL Pro. This festival runs from 8th to the 17th April 2011.
Our film will be screening on Sunday the 17th April at 16h00. CINES MALDÀ, C/ Pi (Ciutat Vella) 5, 08002 Barcelona.
We are delighted and needless to say we are dusting off that hardly used 3 year old bottle of sunscreen and packing flip flops for our trip to sunnier climes. Please come along and join us for the screening if you are nearby.
About the Festival
Mecal Pro festival boasts an impressive programme of over 400 short films screening from 30 different countries -whittled down from 3.500 submissions! This festival was first organized in 1998 and offers a platform for both young talents and experienced professionals. It is astoundingly international in scope and varied in terms of narrative and style, from experimental animation and oblique visual poems to motion graphics and straight-up family drama. There are different categories like experimental, animation or documentary. The most important requirement is that the films participating in this competition must not exceed 30 minutes. The winners are selected by a jury composed of the film industry insiders.
